York Dolls House Fair November A-Z
Accommodation: We use a company called ‘findmeahotelroom.com’ a hotel booking service. They have negotiated discounts on our behalf. The telephone number is 01775 843414. This is a free of charge service, they will be happy to help you. Alternatively contact York Tourist Board, there are many hotels in the City.
Amplified Sound: you are not permitted to use amplified sound without written permission from the organiser.
Breakdown: Do not dismantle / pack away / take down any part of your stand prior to the show closing at 4pm. Our visitors pay for a full day viewing of stands. Failure to comply with this request may result in future bookings being refused. All stands must be removed from all three halls on Sunday 22nd November by 6pm. Please note our contract with the venue expires at 6:00pm on Sunday 22nd November, should any traders be left on site after this time they may incur a £300 late clearance fee.
Car Park for Exhibitors: There will be an attendant on duty from 7am on Sunday morning. Please do not leave your car in front of the glass at the front of the building. You will re directed behind to the building to the trade car park. There should be enough room for a roadway around the venue, to allow access for emergency vehicles.
Cash point: There is a cash point on site.
Children: Must be accompanied or supervised by a responsible adult whilst on the premises.
Electricity: Electric sockets will be available, please bring extension leads. All extension leads must be uncoiled, PAT tested and fitted with appropriate fuses.
First Aid: If you require first aid during show hours contact an organiser who will be situated in the foyer.
Food: There is hot food available on the ground floor in the café area. Upstairs there are teas, coffees and snacks.
Hand Made Items: Items which are not hand made but have been added to or altered in some way must have been SIGNIFICANTLY changed by a hand finish e.g. decorative painting/stencilling (this does not include stick on transfers), upholstered etc. The act of copying or adapting someone else’s work is a restricted act.
Insurance: We hold general public liability insurance for the Show, but you must take out cover to insure your own exhibits.
Leaflets: You are only allowed to give out leaflets from your stand only, actual leaflet drops are prohibited.
Loading Areas: PLEASE KEEP THESE CLEAR –THINK OF OTHERS. Unload and remove your vehicle at once. After the fair please pack up your stand before bringing your vehicle to the loading area.

Programme: You will will receive a copy on your table upon arrival.
Risk Assessment: Exhibitors should complete the risk assessment form found under the ‘other info’ tab and send a copy to Warners Exhibitions.
Security: Security will be on site on Sunday from 7am to 6pm. If you need to contact them you can do this via the organisers situated in the foyer.
